Christmas Social: This will be at the Colliton Club in Dorchester on Monday 2nd December 7.00pm - 9.00pm. We will be having a light-hearted Quiz and partaking of sausage & chips (vegetarian options available).

AGM: Our AGM was on the 16th October 2024 at the Colliton Club in Dorchester. This year we had a talk by Lesley Gasson on Apitherapy. It was a fascinating evening and I am sure we all learned a lot about using bee products as agents for improved health. If you get a chance to listen to Lesley then I recommend it. If your interested in learning more she will be doing a course on Bee Behaviour after Christmas. Further details can be had from our secretary Sally.
Dorset County Show was on the 7th and 8th September 2024 at the Dorset County Showground. As ever we had our Honey Show going on during the show. There were plenty of classes to enter and the full schedule can be seen here. It was a very wet weekend but we received a lot of positive feedback.
Beefest was held as part of Poundbury Summer Market in Crown Square. Though we did not encounter a lot of visitors those that did come were made welcome. Part of the welcome was to allow them to taste a shop bought "honey" and compare it with real honey. Most who tried were amazed at the depth of flavour in real honey.
